WHAT COUNTS
The rules are deliberately strict so every ladder position can be explained and audited.
Only an authenticated, completed result can affect a ranked ladder. Aborted sessions are retained for audit but never ranked.
Every result has a stable idempotency key. A safe retry returns the same receipt instead of creating another result.
Team identity, ranked scores, swaps, Gambler wagers, adjustments and manual overrides retain their audit trail.
Technical canaries used to prove the receipt path are aborted or participation-only. They cannot create standings, league points or public rankings.
